Hey fellas,
I've noticed a slight lean in my car. When you look at it from the rear, you can see that the car is leaning to the left. When i purchased the car, the previous owner urged me to have the rear bushings replaced... that was 6mos ago. Does this sound like a bushing replacement issue or something more serious? What would cause this?

Thanks in advance!

Its not likely. Many of these cars have a lean to them it seems. Sometimes this can be cured by finding the low side in front, jacking the car up loosening and then retightening the A arm bolts.

Check rear springs though.

Our 71 had a case of the sages.Put 4 new shocks on that helped but after a year or so we were saging and rolling in the turns again. But wait! we bought 2 rear coil springs and 2 expensive rear back shocks and wow, what a difference, looks and handling. Our parts guy had two choices, stock and a set that lifts the back up about an inch which we bought and really makes it sit nice. Was easy to do,jack the car, support the rear end with another jack, disconnect the shocks and lower, they should drop right out. We've had more people walking around it and asking if its for sale at the super market than we ever have, like a new paint job
code:

[/QUOTE]
