it says the seller ended the auction, but for what it's worth i had one in the crate never opened that i sold about 10 years ago for 4800.00
things were a little different then, being that the good stuff had been discontinued 12 to 18 mos. prior to that and GM had not developed much yet to serve as a replacement. unlike what they have now with the HO 502, etc. to bad he ended the item, would have been interesting to see what that thing topped out at :eek:

someone probably offered him money to end it early, do you think a motor sitting for a long time like that would have any rust even stored inside like he states, theres no proof it was inside just his word? i bought an LS7 crate in 1995 for 3k great deal there worth more now, but since the 502 came out i sure more people would rather have that...mike :cool:

as i recall those things were buttoned up pretty good, not just a plastic bag over them, i hope it would be ok cause i've got this L78 thats been sitting for almost 10 years some times heated garage and sometimes not, i say if it isn't STUCK it's good to go :D
