I POSTED THIS ? ON THE TIRE AND WHEELS AND GOT NO RESPONDS, MY BE I WILL DO BETTER HERE, I have a 70 chevelle with 15x10" 5.5 bs rally rims (rear)
i need to find out what tire size will work for me.i want to buy a set of BF DRAG tires, but not sure what tire is the best size to run i want to
fit a fat tire but want to stay away from tire rub WHAT ARE YOU GUYS RUNNING AND PISC WOULD HELPright now i have a set of 295/50/15 ,but want a sticky street tire :confused:

I have seen a 295/65 BFG Drag radial on a 71 Chevelle and it definitely filled the wheelwell, the only problem is that he had the lip rolled so it would not rub. If you have no problem rolling the lip on your 70 then I think this tire would work good for you.

I had those same wheels with 295 50 and my lips were rolled perfect. Only time I'd rub was with 2 people in the back. Got tired of that so went back to 8" ralley's 28 11.50 et streets 1.50 60ft times.
