Hey all! I have a SBC 350 with vortec heads,Edelbrock idle - 5500RPM intake Edelbrock TES headers (that have been cut on to allow for a 2.5" true dual exhaust - X pipe - ultra flos). I think that my cam is the problem. 9.4;1 compression ratio. I had the car dynoed before and after the exhaust, and the results were identical (235hp/275 torque) - so that leads me to believe I have a cam problem? The cam in the car currently is an edelbrock and I don't remember the specs - but something like .442/.442 intake/exhaust after 1.5 lifters

It seems like I remember there was a lunati cam kit that was supposed to be a good upgrade for this type of setup, that also came with valve springs that fit the vortec seats. I think my heads are prepped for this already basically, as I put in guides/screw in studs.

Any suggestions would be great!

GM Performance parts offers several cams that will work well depending on your desired power level. I have the HOT cam kit which uses 1.6 roller rockers and a bigger cam to get just over 400hp.
