My open 10 bolt is certainly the weakest link in my drivetrain, ( next to the mental stability of the driver), so I was referred in Trans & Drivetrain Forum to look into this...http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=PWT%2D1940%2DLR&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Have any of you used this, or know of any good/ bad experiences with it ?

I see it as a step in the right direction for my set-up for now while I scour the local area for a 12 bolt and the loot to pay for one. :(

Besides, 2 black strips looks much cooler than 1.

Thanks, John

I have one of those in my car and I beat the crap out of it. The only thing is you better be happy with your gear ratio. I hate my 3.08's so I'll probably be getting rid of it. It acts just like a posi without the occasional tire skip around a corner. I thought that in corners it would unlock, but as soon as you give it power it locks up and goes sideways. Other than that it's a great product and I would recommend it.

Thanks Paul.

Did you install it yourself ? They say a guy can do it in a couple hours without special tools. I don't know about that for me. Never got into diff's other than to change the gear oil and gasket.

Yah it was surprisingly easy, mine came with step by step instructions, it has you make a tool out of a coat hanger
