what is the LSA on this cam? is it really 104? I thought FI engines wanted more LSA. I found the old cam card for my truck engine build and thought I'd DD2000 the engine for the hell of it, but the numbers don't work out right in DD2000. I built the engine 4 years ago and it isn't too bad in a '90 2wd reg cab short box with a 5 speed, but I probably could upgrade the factory swirl port heads.

Help me please!!!

Yes, the LSA is 104 on that one, according to my Scoggin Dickey catalog.

104/104..

Funny how the little motors seem to like close angles when almost stock..

Its not the lsa that fi engines dont like, its the overlap. That cam is small enough that it doesn't have much overlap even with the 104lsa. A cam like that is to build max low end grunt.
