I just installed a rebuild turbo 350 and I have no drive gear. I can put it in low than second. The next gear is neural than reverse and park. I know when the shifter is in low the trans is in low. I have the car on stands to run the car throw the gears. Also when putting the trans in reverse it bangs into reverse. I have a unknown (condition) b&m 2000 stall torque converter that doesn't seem to have any stall at all. I hope this is a simple valve body and converter problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not a trans expert by any means but being that knowone has posted to help I will offer a few simple things to check.

Are you sure the shifter cable is tight and adjusted correctly?
Did you recheck the trans fluid level after you started it up?

These are a few simple things that I can think of to check. Maybe you have already done these. Hope this helps Goodluck.
