I'm installing an MSD 6AL box along with an Accel 71100 distributor and the ol' big yellow super coil.
MSD has no diagram for wiring this distributor to the MSD box.
The book shows the wiring to an MSD distributor along with the colored wires. Anyone ever wire one up?
I have the green red and brown wire(ground) out of the dist but the MSD has green and purple for the dist. hookup. Also a white separate wire out of the box for the trigger or box. Any ideas?

Hopefully you have a schematic for the 71100. If you do, the link will tell you how. You just bypass the HEI module in the distributor and use the mag pickup for a trigger.
