I have the two mounting screws loose on my fusebox. However, there is still the center bolt/screw that goes from the firewall side. I can't seem to get enough clearance in the engine compartment to get it loose.

Do you push it through the firewall and try to undo it on the inside first? It's holding up my dash replacement badly!

Nope gotta unbolt it from the outside. A 1/4 inch drive socket, extension, and swivel will help you. It will not push through they must seperate.

The firewall connector is two pieces and they are usually gooped up. Pull the bolt as suggested and clean out the goop. They will come out and then you can remove it from the inside.
