I have the 3" system, and my hangers appear to be different than the one on that car. However, it's difficult to tell as right where the rear exit of the muffler is, there is a rod on the clamp which fits into a rubber piece, which then fits into the frame mounted piece. My system does hang low, but if I were to raise it, the exit pipes would be rubbing against my gas tank...that would be bad times.

Just an idea...you don't have the H-pipe upside down do you?

That would be funny:D, as there is noticeable bend at the rear exits of the H-pipe that should be up, but if they were down, the mufflers would be a mile away from the hangers or at a weird angle. Who knows.

h pipe is correct .I do have the hangers you desribe mike.found the ones rear of muffler installed wrong:clonk:.am I correct in assuming that the tailpipe hangers rotate up until the nut is at the 12 o'clock position??that is the only way my tale pipes look correct.if you have a pic of your it would be great.

Eric,

Yes, the rear muffler clamp nuts are at 12 o'clock and the rods points out. I can't post any pics that are going to be of much help as I have all my jackstands, jacks, and cherry-picker on my camaro right now.

ok.seems I had a sight rectal/cranal inversion:Dgot my hangers correct.found that ifyou replace pinch nuts on hangers with regular nutsfor the the set up stage it is much easier.also on rear hangers if you turn them around and install from the front the nut is then easy to tighten.tack welded in place then installed pinch nuts.nice system just could use better detailed instructions.glad I have a lift, could not see doing this on a creeper.thanks for the help guys
