:(Theres nothing worse than a fuel gauge not working.:( My 72 chevelle fuel gauge reads full all the time. I checked the ground at the tank, its good. Can anyone help me with this, I need my gauge to work its driving me nuts.:confused: I also checked for power going to the sender, got power. Please Help. THANKS.:beers:

There is actually some incorrect info on that page

This is just one instance. Quoted from link......

The next trouble-shooting task begins by disconnecting the wire to the tank sending unit. If the gauge still reads full, there is likely a short to ground somewhere between the sending unit and the gauge

It should say it is likely open between the gauge and sending unit. It is supposed to read full with the wire disconnected.
