I'm looking to install a column in my 65 but
I don't know what years will interchange with
out a big change a wiring,the car has a
shifter on the column now but won't one with-
out a shifter,If anyone can help please e-

64,65and 66 will be a bolt in . thay are mech/elect the same. watch adds on team chevelle parts for sale. floor shift colunms show up from time to time

They are not exactly the same. There are two different turn signal switches used and they will not interchange column to column. One is a "Guide" and one is a "BPC".The end plug to the car is the same so they will fit car to car, but if you get a bad switch on a used column, your good old switch may not fit. the high cost of a new switch can negate a good deal on a used column. Try and test the switch first, AND make sure the hole for the lever is not cracked or broken. On my own car, I ground off the nub for the handle and filled the hole, sanded and painted it. You cant tell the difference, and I only had to remove the collar, not the entire column. Worked for me.
