A really good cam for low compression engines, didn't work out to well on my 10.5 motor. But I do still have it and will keep it for my old reliable piece!

Shhhh, for cheap, I might just buy it and keep it around. Would make a great 396 cam with stock heads and ex manifolds.

If someone here is interested in it, I will not bid aginst you. Let me know.

Brother, I think thats the one! I don't rightly know, but sure seems like the 10 split is there for that reason.

I'm thinkin that might be a good cam for this mild 427 of mine, hmmm. Maybe I'll check the bidding on the last day and see where it is $ wise.

The Ultradyne 276/286 I have has these numbers,

dur@.50 223/232
lobe lift .3027/.3027
lobe separation 112
seat dur@.0045 276/286
gross valve lift .514/.514
valve lash 0/0
degree intake lobe to 106 ATDC
seat timing intake, 30 BTDC 66 ABDC
seat timing exhaust, 80 BBDC 26 ATDC 118

This cam sounds great and has good power but I had to run 95 or better octane to ease the pinging in my 10.5 comp. motor. I think it would be great for 9.5 or less comp. motors.

I couldnt figure why there was a 10 split on seat, and an 8 in .050 duration on the ex side.

James, that's what I figured, a nice 9:1 454 cam, Did it lope at all? Kinda hoping its smooth as glass in a 496. I mean GM stock smooth, 0 lope.

Imagine it would lope a bit in a 396.

Now look, I'll buy it if its cheap, but lets talk to each other, I dont want to bid against anyone here!

A nice step up from the Crane 272H IMHO
The UD/Lunati 276/286 would be perfect for a stock flat top 454 with a pair of closed chamber heads bolted on..nice,cheap torquey mill graemlins/thumbsup.gif

It has a noticable lope, it reminds me a lot of the way the stock 396/375 cams loped but it has that UD signature ring to it. In fact, the 280/288 I have now doesn't lope much more than it did.

It has great torque and when I used racing gas it ran very strong(8.57/89mph in the eigth in street trim), but with 93 octane and my 10.5 engine it would start fallin down when the pinging started.

But it also produced plenty of vacuum and I got good fuel mileage. I will be hanging on to it for possible future use.
