Hey, all -

I need a short extension for my '70 antenna cable. The radio in my glovebox is just a little too far away for me to plug the windshield antenna cable into it. I thought it would be a simple trip to get a short extension cable.

Radio Shack, where I expected to find one, has none.

Can anyone post a link or have any other ideas where to find one? The newer antenna cables are not the same - Radio Shack and Best Buy had plenty of them, just not the one I needed.

Thanks!

If you can't find one at a local car stereo shop... there's always Crutchfield.

There are many different ends & variables, so maybe a call to them (tech support) may be in order.

I just got an extension for my 68 (rear antenna) from Autozone. They only seem to stock one size, but it worked for me.

I needed one for the rear antennae on my 65. Couldn't find the old style ext cable locally, but did an internet search and got one for $5 or so. don't remember the site, but it came up using google.

Thanks for the info - I'll give Autozone a quick try.

I've tried searching google and crutchfield, but didn't want to buy the wrong one - there's several choices, maybe for $5 I'll try the one that looks closest and see what happens.
