Hey guys. Just a couple quick questions....
On a Edelbrock 1406 carb the lower of the two vacuum ports up front would be the manifold vacuum port correct? Also, is there any reason why an engine would have TWO grounds??? My engine has two seperate wires for grounds. One in the front (chassi to cylinder head, passengers side) and then one on the back (firewall to cylinder head, passengers side). I don't know what the deal is with this, but I thought i'd ask. Thanks in advance guys. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Hopefully she will be started up and broken in tomorrow.

On the 1406 the lower of the two is manifold as far as the ground straps there more for radio noise than a ground. To prevent a whine when you listen to the radio on am for the most part. dom

Since most engines are mounted on rubber mounts as well as the bodies, you don't want to rely on chance connections.
