My combo 69 Camino a/c car 454 flat top pistons 781 heads 8to1 compression, rpm air gap,750 Edelbrock, 1 3/4 full length headers 2 1/4 full exhaust w/ Flowmasters, th350 shift kit 2800 stall ,342 gears 26 inch tire. this is a 95% street car but I like to go to the track a couple times a year for fun,and to hopefully smoke my buddies.I would like a hyd lifter cam big torque 6500 rpm max. Is a 11 second time slip a possability?

IMHO and experience,you will not be able to get 6500 RPM out of a hydraulic cammed 8 to 1 454 w/oval port heads.Ain't happening
I wouldn't let the 8 to 1 limit your cam selection within reason though
I think a small solid lift cam would do the trick,but not get you 6500 RPM
