I posted this up in the performance section but didnt get much help. Well its about time I start changing the suspension in my 70 chevelle. I am looking in getting new springs and shocks front and rear, and I am looking at putting the upper adjustable control arms from UMI and there boxed lower. Currently the car as all orignal suspension except for the KYB shocks.I will be using the car for street and strip but mostly street. I would like the car to sit about the same height as it is now with the worn out springs.Any help would be aprreciated thanks matt

I put the Hotchkis Total suspension package with adjustable QA1 shocks. The package was 1,399.00 from original parts group and the shocks are 160.00 each. Freakin awesome. Completely changed the way my car drives. I love it all the parts fit perfectly.

The only thing I didn't change was the upper and lower A-arms. There are still stock for my 70 chevelle.

Oh ya and my buddy just put the Hotchkis kit in without the QA1 shocks and mine handles much better than his. The shocks are expensive but worth it, plus you can adjust the shocks very easily.
