Hey all, I am in the process of building a '69 Chevelle and have run into some questions. I am interested in running some decent up grades in the shock department. Here are some car specs. I am going to run a set of Global West (tubular) control arms in the front and a set of adjustable control arms in the rear (probably Jegs). I am curious what other people are using. I am running a Moser 9" set up for a Chevelle (stock mounting spots). With that being said, I am looking for an affordable shock set up. This is going to be a weekend toy and local 1/4 mile car. I am not going to be doing any road racing. Will a set of coilovers in the front be worth my while? In the rear I am looking to be able to adjust for good straight launches. Is there a good affordable coil over set up that bolts directally into the rear that people are happy with? Any info is appreciated.
