can anyone reccomend a decent exhaust shop in the So. Cal area. Preferably in the San Fernando valley area.

I am looking to have someone install a flowmaster exhaust kit #17107.

Also how much is a decent price to have this done?

Can't help you on price, but the best guy that I know of is in Anaheim, not too far from the Pond. Don Lorentzen. Not an exhaust shop, he does just about everything. The guy knows his way around a Chevy. Ex-drag racer. 714-633-5168.

not that it helps you location wise, but I just asked around about this yesteray at a couple local shops (midas/meineke, etc)..

To put a Flowmaster American Thunder system on my 69SS, with GM tips, and set it up right, etc..

One place told me 2 hours @ $60 per hour + $20 extra to weld it.

The other guy told me he does classic musclecars quite a bit..he told me $80-100, all welded.

I am planning to drive it up there with open headers and cross my fingers that I dont get a ticket doing it.

Discount Muffler Center (DMC) in Pomona Ca. does good work. I'm not sure prices but they have taken care of me in the past.

Enochs, not sure of spelling, but its pronounced E-knocks . Excellent hi-performance exhaust work. I think there on Magnolia in Burbank, haven't been there for quite a while. (Yellow pages)

Sepulveda Muffler on Sepulveda and about Parthenia in North Hills does great work, both custom and other. He can even make you an exhaust system from scratch. Ask for Ken; he's been doing my stuff for years. He's honest and works for a fair price.Tell him Bob Giffrow sent you.
