I'm using serpentine pulleys & brackets off a 96 truck...question is how do I hook the new alt. to my wiring?
The new alt has 4 little pins on it plus the "BATT" terminal, and the connection only has one thin wire on the third pin (looks like "F") My old alt had 2 wide prongs (the end had 2 wires...one ran to guages and the other to a pos)and the "BATT" terminal
the old alt is bigger and doesn't fit on the bracket properly or I'd use it.
So how can I hook it up? I realise the "BATT" connection is the same, but what about the wire?
