I've been collecting parts for my Chevelle build for awhile now and recently picked up a 1 inch rear sway bar off of an early 90's Caprice Cop Car. It bolts to the bottom of the rear control arms like the 73-77 chevelles did. The width is fairly close so I'm sure I can fab the proper mounts to my homemade tubular lower arms. I recently came up with a brainstorm in that I think I'll make the bar adjustable at the control arm mounting points, this way I can fine tune my launch and reduce body roll off the line. Anybody have any thoughts as to whether this will work? I see Dick Miller offers an adjustable bar kit for use with a cage and I think this will work similar but simple.

Add to the previous, I think adjustability on the sway bar would probably delete the need to run a right side airbag in the coil spring. Any thoughts on if this will work?

I also have come across a caprice rear swaybar and think I will have to make the mounts extend about an inch past the control arms. I was thinking about a .25 steel plate bolted to a boxed control arm and the bar bolted to the plate.
Please post what ideas you may have about any fabbed brackets.
