I have another thread about door adjusting. But while trying to adjust that door I noticed that the lower door hinge, the part that mounts to the cowl on the D/S was thicker than the P/S. The piece was about 1/2 inch thicker. Is this normal or did he have the wrong hinge in the car and some how modified the door for it. I don't have the doors anymore so I can't check. The car is a 67 GTO, it should be the same on a chevelle.

I removed the other hinge and it's the same. I guess it was the angle I was looking at it at.
