where did you guys buy your RHS heads from?
im searching all over for the best deal on them. 200cc aluminum, straight plug, set up for hydraulic roller. best sprice so far is about 1200.

my only real concern about these is the springs it has.

Comp 987 springs.

they are 1.430 dual spring, 95# at 1.800, max lift of 550. (what rhs website states).
Doug Herbert says the springs are...

so, would those springs be alright for my cam, or should i upgrade, and get a set of 600lift behive springs?

Aaron,
First, I would highly recommend you buy those heads bare from what I have seen unless it is from a reputable machine shop you can trust.
Nice head but QC leaves something to be desired unless they have gotten better
Is there a particular reason you are looking at this head?
I have done a number of the cast iron ones for circle track & with some had some serious issues, others just needed the guides done & of course the seats redone any time you mess with the guides.
The only aluminum ones I did the guides were way too tight but this was when ProTopline was still in business.

What hyd roller are you using?
108 / 330 seems really light unless this is a very mild cam

The 987 would not be my first choice for a hyd roller.
It is cheap though, under $100 a set :D
The Jeg's spec is correct

i am trying to keep the build on a budget.

the cam is voodoo hydraulic roller
535/550 lift 231/239 duration 282/290 110/106

a mix between mild and wild, i would say.

those are the springs that lunati recommends with this cam. and im sure they are lighter than the one that afr's come with.

im not actually set on heads, as i change my mind more than a newborn diaper gets changed. i would like to keep the price around 1200 a pair complete.
