I love the colour combination. Wish they had some more pictures. It's a top notch car from the sound of it. I would envision some major dollars on this one (if it can be confirmed as real). How's my credit here at TC :waving:

It looks like a really nice car and I wish I could afford it.

But, this numbers matching is another thing. Its got 410 gears with a four speed, and what 26,000 miles.

So lets look at a little bit of common sense here. A guy buys this car new with that setup, well what do you suppose he's going to do with it.

They didn't have rev limiters back then, so its a pretty good bet he's going to wind her up, and unless he's Ronnie Sox or grumpy Jenkins theres a good chance he will miss that low to second shift, at least several times.

These were not bullet proof motors, plus a lot of guys drove them drunk, I don't have to say anymore on that.

I was 29 years old and out there when these cars were running the streets and dragstrips, and I have seen several cases of main and rod bearings letting loose.

My buddies new 67 400 gto, we put two 421's after the 400 blew a hole right out of the motor, and that was in a years time.

The only way I would buy this matching number motor deal on a lot of these, is if it was imbedded in my chest as a pace maker since I was 29.

But, this car could be the real deal, but somethings rotten in Denmark.

Theres just to many original motors, no wait I'm only dreaming, only old ladies drove those four speeds.

We need to get a another name for some of this stamping thats going on.

How about, The Stompin Stampers.

You stomp it, we stamp it.:)

Looks like several "incorrectly" restored items as well.

Petty car though.

Wrong battery and battery cables and dash housing :).
