pulled my 4 row Griffin radiator with the duel thin line flex-i-lite fans and puke tank. weighed 34 Lbs. seems a bit "portly". is there a good lighter radiator that dosent require a lot of fabrication? and how much would it weigh? thanks Dave

I think a stock GM copper core radiator is going to weigh more than that, just the radiator alone.

I called my local radiator shop and found a late model aluminum w/plastic tanks radiator for around $150.00. It fit perfectly in the stock location with NO modifications. Even the trans cooler ports were in the correct location. I gave them my measurements and they looked it up.
This is a 1970 SS. The only change was a malibu (small block) lower hose.
The best part is that it weighed 3 pounds!!!! That's empty with no fan mounted onto it. The original 4 row weighed 28 pounds empty.

This is a single row core. I mostly race it, so it will be ok, but a 2 or 3 row will still be light.
