Why not contact Garden State Chevelles- an ACES chapter in the central/ northern part of the state? I would like to see one started in South Jersey. You can find GSC's info on this very site.

Just looking for someone with similar interests to meet at E-town swap, AC auction and major cruiz nights in the area. Might swap/sell/buy parts also. ;)

I go to Etown every spring and fall..haven't missed one in 10 years now. I also go to AC Auction every year....something to do in the winter time. Cruise nights up that way...not so much although I know there is one somewhere in Browns Mills.

Frank - I usually make one etown trip a year. Unfortunately I don't make many local shows or cruiz nigts. Just too busy with the kids.... It's good to know the local Chevelle guys - I've been trying to hook up with one the last two weeks and we just can't line up our schedules.

I can tell you that my rust free Texas 64 Malibu ended up in NYC at Christmas 1976. I had to sell it to pay for college expenses and the guy that bought it drove it to his home in New York City (Brooklyn judging from the accent) because it was cheaper than air fare and I'm sure he mad a profit. Before I sold it I stripped everything off the engine so it looked like a two barrel plain jane engine. Also put the original wheels back on. Always wondered if it was still around. A few years ago I found the original owners maintenance manual with the original owner name and vin and posted that in the vin section hoping someone still had the car. I had it in red primer ready to paint.

Hey Frank, I am located in South River NJ next to East Brunswick and 20 minutes from English Town. I own a 68 Chevelle with my little Bro, and have my own 72 which is getting ready for a 454. I also have a neighbor who has a few chevelles, and currently is driving his 67 around.

I have wanted to start something local around my area but I can't do it alone due to my schedule. I am also a member of garden State Chevelle, But I cant even make a meeting due to my schedule.

We should just pick a date in the near future meet up for some lunch and see if we could pick a day where all the Jersey Guys can meet and take a cruise. Hey there you go (Jersey Chevelles) !!!!!!!

I'm afraid everything did rust out here in New Jersey

It seems everyone is scattered out here in NJ. I'm here in Somerset County and they are few and far between. Im not even talking 64-67... just classic rides as a whole. Its unfortunate but what can you do? Thank the tons of roadsalt put down in light of snow that never comes. And then when it doesn't snow, it just coats the ground for weeks/months to come. Thats what killed classic cars in the Northeast for the past few decades. If anything provokes me to move out west (southern california or Vegas area) or south (Florida), its the weather and car scene lol I ll take extreme heat over salt anyday... would force me to put in a vintage AC system on my car (new project lol)

You fellows are welcome to meet at my deli http://www.jjoes.com/. I'm located on the water and have a view of Manhattan and the Verranzano Bridge (see map on JJOES website). Just send me a PM if interested.

Right now I'm looking for drip rails for the hardtop. Would like to see what else you have also.

I dont have drip rails, sorry. I have a 64 SS Hardtop I purchased for parts and to eventually restore, but I came to the realization that restoring that right now is not going to work out, so its been for sale for a little while. I have many many parts for that hardtop so just let me know.
