Looking for a reputable and excellant engine builder in Maryland and/or Virginia for my 540ci buildup. Without having any good contacts, this has been a crap shoot in the past, so any help would be appreciated. BTW, Wolfplace, you're just too far away :(

I will second the nomination of Bill K. His shop is located in Waldorf and does quality work at a reasonable price. He's done work for us in the past and I will be seeing him about a 496 build in the near future.

Where exactly are you located?

As far as i'm concerned, Malcolm Durham is THE MAN as far as big blocks go. I've had work done by him in the past(not big block, it was a small block but still) and it was kick-ass.

I'm not sure if he's still around; I will check my files for his number and post it as soon as i can find it. He may have moved to a larger facility as his old one has been torn down.

Seriously, he knows big blocks.
