John,

I have one coming from OPG this week. Is yours original or NOS? Just wondering if I will need a bracket also. I would assume they come with a new one?

Thanks Guys.
It is supposed to be original. I haven't received it yet to make sure. Bought it off e-bay.

Ernie,

I should get the OPG repro one tomorrow. I'll post what that looks like also. And what comes in the package

Mike

Note - was going to repaint the car dark blue. Changed my mind - I can't count the people who have commented on that maroon color. Thanks

I'm doing a full frame off on my 67 now. My car is original Royal Plum. I'm going to go back to that as it seems to be rare. With the way the sunlight was hitting your car I was hoping you would reply Royal Plum. I think your color is much nicer though. Also let me know on the tach.

Thanks,

This should get you started. I just made a mounting plate for my 67 SS. It was easy. This scan came from an old NCOA that as you can see was used. This is the same from the missing one that I used, but just with the ends niped from the left corners some. The infomation in those old "Chevelle Report" mags is sometimes hard to find. I think I have another full copy someware in the shop,. When I find it I'll forward it. I hope this works!

Just got my tach from OPGI. Letters are green - marking lines are green.

By the way - it is going back. Awfull quality. I would not put this in my car.

The plastic face is poorly glued to the body, with gaps. There is a piece of dirt inside on the blinker that will show up each time it blinks. The plastic face is cheap and already has light scratches. Just 2 bolts for mounting - but different lengths.

Just awfull........sad part is the box says 'Proudly American Made'.......

Thought I would let you guys know.

The Hinshaw blinker tach I just got is a quality product. White letters instead of green, easier mounting process (you can use screws) and it is solid - not glued plastic.

Seems odd that 2 different manufactures would make 67 blinker tachs. How many could they possibly sell????
