I know someone here will have the answer, so I'm not panicing..yet.. smile.gif
Here's my problem. I'm helping a guy put together a car, and he wanted to make it different, so we bought an old crower mechanical fuel injection that he's having converted to electronic. We needed to do some measurements for height, and when we set the manifold onto the block/heads, we couldn't get it to line up with the bolt holes.
In order to get the bolt holes to line up, we had to shim the manifold up over .25", which leaves quite a gap between the manifold and the block/heads. These injectors were off an old race car (so we were told), and I'm wondering if I've ended up with a tall deck manifold?
Is there anything I can do to make this work? These were hard to find, and weren't cheap either...heck of an expensive paperweight.
Thanks for your help..and merry christmas to all.... smile.gif
