webfoot Jan 8th, 08, 1:46 AM Have you seen the one that a guy in the Oregon chevelle & elky club has? It is the whole front clip of a '71!
17Again Jan 8th, 08, 3:59 AM That would be this one. The idea was mine, gathered up a few people with the know how and we built it in about 3 months from donated parts. Purchased the trailor tongue and axle assemblies and had a custom fit burner box/grilling surface made. The hood is leaned against the fence in this pic, but there are posts to mount it about 3ft straight up over the grilling surface. It can handle about 30lbs of charcoal. 40lbs will get to hot for the tires.

You can if you can make it to our show in July, it is after all the new location for the Aces NW Regional show.

webfoot Jan 8th, 08, 8:33 PM Might have to try that! My car is far from a show car though. :)
17Again Jan 8th, 08, 9:36 PM Jeremy,
If you check out my webshots page, my car went to all kinds of cruises and shows long before I got it in the condition it's in now. Cars at ashow are just that. I consider "show cars" SEMA and other major indoor shows as far as quality goes. Wash it, put a fresh coat of wax on it, wipe it down and vacuum it, then park it for all to see what you like. If anything, you can talk to others and get detailing ideas or mods that you want to try.

vrooom3440 Jan 9th, 08, 7:29 PM I love that SBC BBQ setup. Very cool. :beers: I wonder... I just happen to have an engine stand sitting idle up in the attic...

Almost fell outta my chair on that one...
I once got a letter requesting me to remove the engine from my driveway.
Only problem was the "engine" was an independent rear suspension assembly for a Ford Mustang Cobra on a pallet. Darn neighbors cannot even get their complaints right
A couple weeks later the kid from across the street was asking me about the engine... so now I know who complained. For all the good it will do me.
