I just bought an accel efi setup that was supposed to be a barely used gen 7 with 660cc injectors. I don't believe this is what I received. I looked at the mr gasket accel dfi website and came up with no luck on the part numbers. It looks like the Gen 7 just came out a couple of years ago, and my ecu has a date of 8/18/97 :confused:

Also has ATMQ18E above the serial number.

The fuel injectors are Siemens and have the number 9267 on one side.

If anyone knows what any of these numbers mean please let me know but I have a sinking feeling that with the 8/18/97 date that this is definitely the older GEN 6 software. With the holiday coming up I doubt I will be able to get in touch with anyone at accel but I want to know for sure before I complain to the seller.

You are correct in that they didn't have the Gen VII in 97.

Thanks for the help. BillK that is the exact set-up. Now I guess I have to go throught the ordeal of sending this stuff back. I bought it under the pretense of being the new GEN 7 software. The injectors were also supposed to be 660cc versions which is approximately 60lbs/hr. I have had no luck on looking up the Siemans #9267 injectors. It still never amazes me at the knowledge found on this site.

Just for information purposes the injectors that were supposed to be 660cc injectors or 60lb came out to be 36 lb injectors. Well now I know 100% sure that I did not get what I thought I was buying. Hope the seller is a cool guy and admits he was wrong and buys this stuff back.
