There is no such thing as an SS gauge cluster unless you're referring to a standard SS round speedometer/fuel gauge setup on 70-72 models. Working 'gauges' such as oil/amp/water/tach were optional on ALL SS cars from at least 66 and later - and non-SS Malibus could be ordered with the same optional gauge packages. :thumbsup:
