I know we saw this a couple months back and they were much more.......The base is $10849.00 and the deluxe is $11989.00......They are also very under rated and saying there pumping out 700 HP on the 620 ......

To me this is not a bad deal.....Still a bit much but if you look at what most of us spend for 650 to 700 HP engines we spend all of $10.000.00

$10.000.00 = 700 HP = graemlins/hurray.gif

Crate motors are a great convenience, BUT...
Just as an FYI...at last count, I've got right at $8800 in my 540...carb to pan.
Plus, I got to hand pick it's components, verify clearances and supervise the assembly.
And plenty of room to grow. :D

It's a good looking combo for sure, but prices are a wee bit higher than if you built it yourself.

Still a nice piece though.

He' scott the merlin 632ci (crate) is also nice too,but the price!!!!! :eek: :eek:
And just like bill's combo,my merlin 540ci can grow too graemlins/thumbsup.gif :cool:
