I purchased my 67 almost 20 years ago and lately have been trying to get any history I can. It is a U.S. car so do not have the option of the Canadian record system. The only thing to go on are the Arizona plates that were on the car when I got her. Does anyone know of a way of tracking down the last owner of these plates? I know it is a shot in the dark but what the heck.

In Texas, you can order a full owner history of any car. I've done this several times with varying results, but they always provided me with all of the owners while the car was in Texas. As long as you are THE current owner, they will provide you with the information.

Try the Arizona DMV. Call and ask.
