I've been thinking of going with a forged crank in my 350.
I've found a couple of 1182's that were 20/20 and suposedly ready to go.
For some reason I've hesitated picking one of them up.

Is a 20/20 under forged crank still stronger than something like a SCAT 9000?

I would say yes, did they re heat treat it?

If you use a crank turned any further than .020" you need to make sure they leave a radius on the crank and then you use chamfered bearings

We have used .050"/.050" cranke with a radius but you have to use ACL bearings in a street performance engine, i hesitated a little at first but the customer already had the crank and it was turned be had to go 50/50, the machine shop did it but left a radius on the crank and had it heat treated, no issues

A 20/20 forged crank will be fine.
Remember when we used to turn 400 cranks a .100" under to fit a 350 block?
