It’s been 20 years in the making but it’s finally on the road again. I got it registered about 3 weeks ago. What a rush to be able to drive it. It went straight as an arrow and got plenty of looks and thumbs up. It has a well built 468 with a 1050 Holley, 2 1/8 hooker headers and 3 ½ exhaust, Th400 with a 8” 4800 stall converter. A complete frame off with NOS floors ,rear quarters, tailgate , door skins and front fenders, a narrowed 9” with 4:88 gears with a Detroit locker. So far I have done most of the work myself except for the engine. The engine is very strong it can break the,33x 21.5x 15 MT tires loose at 40 MPH (still have to work on the hook up).I will be putting a 150 shot of nitrous this winter, and will be working on a custom dash. In the spring I will have the body blasted and will start on the bodywork and interior.
Here are a few progress pictures . All comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks for looking. Dave

Looks killer so far. It ought to look awesome when it is done. What color are you going to paint it?

Looks killer. The diamond plate bed floor and fenderwells looks cool. Did that add a lot of extra weight?

Thank’s This week I am thinking about painting it blue or red with silver stripes, next week who knows. And yes the 1/8 alum. diamond plate adds about 60-70 lbs. but the floor is removable, the tubs are permanent and they weigh about 30 lbs. Dave
