: 4 speed Pedal differences??

I was looking through a crate I have with at least 4 sets of 4 speed pedals. There looks to be a minor difference between a few of them. I think...they are either 69 or 70. Is there any significant difference between 69 or 70 pedal assemblies that might make them not work in a given application. I was going to pull a set for the convertible and redo them, just want to make sure I grab the right one.

69's will have a small pin with a " E " clip on the end for the nuetral safety switch..70-72 are the same..not sure about 68

Thanks Albert  2 of the assemblies I have are correct, 1 still has the switch mounted to the pedal bracket. I'm starting to separate the parts for the convertible...ones I'm going to use, not use, etc.. so I can refinish them and box 'em up for when they are needed.

I've been doing the same thing Tom. I have all the parts of the Camino in RubberMaid tubs in a separate garage. I go out there and get parts, bring them in, blast, paint, rebuild, whatever they need. These are parts like the steering column, pedals (I did today) seats, all stuff I won't need till the cars just about finished. But I figure it's ALL gotta be done sooner or later. You just have to make room to store all the finished parts so nothing happens to them before you need them.

That's kinda what I was working on today Bill. I'm going to put up a shelf to store all the boxes for the convertible on after I blast and paint them all. The big stuff, like the steering column, which I have apart right now, and other misc items too heavy or akward to put on a shelf, I'm going to store under the workbench I made. I found all kinds of extra new stuff I forgot I had while routing through the parts shed :). Now I just have to finish setting up the new garage how I want it (another 2 weeks or so) and I'll be in business

I put a bunch of pictures of a 69 assembly on this thread if it will help.
