Hey guys, Back into it again. Well my carb that was set up for my combo was not working for my combo haha. It was an 850 DP jetted at 82 front and 92 rear. It had a the brown accelerator cam in on both sides and 40 squirter up front and 35 in the back. My problem was i was getting an off idle stumble. Also my pipes were white from being so lean. SO anyway, today i jetted it up front to an 84 and the back to a 94. Pipes are much better but i'm still gettin ga stumble. The brown cam that is in there i thought was the biggest, does this mean i need more of a pump shot? like a 45? It has a 6.5 pv in the front too, should i move that down to a 3.5?
Thanks
Ed

Kripes. Sounds like its wanting more fuel!? Would think it pig rich. Putting a smaller power valve in should make it worse. I ran a 45 ( be sure to use the slotted bolt )in the front of the 850 on my rat. At that point, you are really looking at a 50cc pump upfront.

are you serious? 50cc accelerator pump kit? front and back or just front? People are telling me that the jets i have in there now are too much for a SB lol. I dunno, my pipes are now gray, i'm doing plugs tomorrow and taking it for a drive shutting it down and pulling a few to see if i have to jet more.
Is something wrong here???

I ran an 850 for several years and just put a 750 on (355 SB).

Here is my setup with the 850:
79/87 with no rear PV (stock is 78/78 with a rear PV)
37/35 squirters, hollow screw in the front.
orange pump cam F&R, front on the #2 hole, rear #1 hole
30cc pumps both front and back.
I ran a 65 PV then a 45 PV with no difference.

The carb is an 850 with annular boosters. It ran very well on my 294º cammed 7000 rpm 350. However, I think it was too much carb since the 750 seems, at this point in testing, to be outperforming it. If you have a solid screw in the 40 squirter it is restricted and is about the same as a 35 squirter.
