I've had an ongoing problem for a while now, I have a bent valve in my #2 intake. I have a 454 with a solid roller cam and pulled it all apart and repalced the bent valve a while back. After 20-30 mins run time, getting it warmed up, setting timing etc, it was bent again. It never saw more than 3000 rpm. The first time I figured I revved it too hard, even with a rev kit in there and tapped the valve on the piston. Now I have an interference issue and really don't want to pull it back apart. The machine shop I had build the engine wants me to start doing diag work, which is OK for him, but I had him put this together to avoid these problems. I wrench for a living, but I don't build engines on a daily basis. I don't want to deal with this when I get home. My car never left my garage this last summer because of this issue. Free nights and weekends are hard enough to come by without having to do the job twice. I'll get it done, but I'm fed up at this point.
