It is a good idea to run a 427 .030 over stock 781 heads stainlees valves 10.1 comp. forged rotaring assemble with a Carter 120 gph strip pump ? :confused: Not sure what ring gap mesurement but it will be gettting 100-150 hp nitrous graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Never used that pump with nitrous, but i think it should be ok for a small shot. Just make sure you check the pressure after the regulator and make sure its around 6-6.5 psi. I would also put a hobbs switch in line incase the pressure drops off at the top end, it shuts the nitrous off. I would also make sure that the pump is properly fed by a 1/2" line...just some suggestions...

With that power level 100-150 that pump should be fine.Make sure you you have a fuel pressure gauge you can see under full throttle in final gear. I run my current system at 4.8 which is lean but that helps with the drop in bottle pressure.Ive built several set ups for people. I,d start with 5.5 and go down from their. If you run much over 200 you need a secondary fuel supply.
