Hey everybody. I am thinking about buying a pair of Edelbrock Signature Series(Summit Part#EDL-4680) Valve Covers(Tall) for my 468. I was wondering if anyone on here runs these covers and more specifically runs them on a big block. I was curious as to whether or not anyone with these covers have clearance issues with Roller Rockers or fitting under the brake booster. Any info would be great. I am just trying to get some info before I buy them. Thanks everyone.

I was messing around with the idea of getting rollers, and I've heard that you do need tall valve covers to clear them. The booster looks far enough away to clear tall covers for my '70.

i have a set on a 66 and had to add shims in the front body mounts for clearence. shims under radiator suport and shims under the firewall body mounts.

I had these exact valve covers on my big block and it didnt clear my brake booster at all. They were even shaved down in the area of the brake booster for added clearance and it was still not good enough. I ended up going with the Moroso tall valve covers, as they were cheap and very shiny. The e brocks were very nice looking indeed, but if you're running a brake booster you will more then likely run into clearance problems.

I have the tall Edelbrock VC's on my 69 BB. I am running roller rockers. They would not fit with the stock size brake booster.
A smaller diameter brake booster and your in.
BTW, I am taking my Edelbrock tall VC's off and replacing them with a set of Billet Specialities Heartbeat of America VC's. My Edelbrocks will be on ebay as soon as the new ones arrive...

Why not run low profile valve covers with the 1/2" aluminum spacers under the cover? Also, I've run tall covers (Moroso and Trans Dapt) on 69-70's with big blocks and power brakes and never had a problem.
