Well finally getting to the rear suspension on my Son't 70 Nova. I've been kicking around the idea of using ladder bars with floating spring mounts from Jegs. Has anyone here used these?- part number 550-40603

With adjustable ladder bars pinion angle would be tunable. And I would think with the floating spring perches the ride would be Ok. I've heard different opinions on pinion angle settings for leaf spring cars, more input would be welcome. I'm sure somebody here has experience with this type of setup so please throw you two cents in.

This is a smallblock 4 speed car. Bob

Well,
The link isn't working for me...but it seems that Cal-tracs are the device of choice with the Nova, and camaro crowd.

Why not use the stocker eliminator leaf spring slapper bar set up and shim the pinion angle? That set up will hook more power than you will ever give it.
