I have a friend that is going to start building a BB Chevy for a pulling truck. He has a 454 that he’s going to start with but he’s not sure where to go from there! He’s going to try and get 600+ HP out of it. I’m not sure what heads he’s got or anything else but he’s talking about getting some Merlin heads, roughly 12:1 comp, and possibly a full roller cam-etc.. Thought I’d put this out here for some ideas on what and how he could get it done. So all recommendations will be appreciated!

Do a search here for Ed's, (racer1320), "BSE" motor combination b/c it should be a good one to start with, imho!!
