looks very nice.
I'm doing my 66 simular to what you are in the of paint. I havce it all cut in and will have to finish block the remainder of the outside body panels before paint.
I was told I could just rough up the corners where the base/clear will be blending into the previous painted areas. Is this the way you will do yours also.
Oh, I love that color! So, not normal red.

Dig the color! I'm also a little jealous of the nice paint booth. Yours?

I'm not sure about "rough up" the edges, but I will light block with 220, then wet sand with 600 to the edges, and back tape or use 3M aperture tape when paint time comes.

The color is GM code 43 Gulf Green metallic

And the booth is not mine sadly, but where I work. Final paint will be done there.

So you do the work at HOME and take it to the paint booth (at work i'm supposing?) to do the priming and final color?
