Hey guys, when people say an engine may have dropped a bearing is that reffering to part of the crank? I never really thought about it, here it so often...

Never heard it put that way,,, usually "lost or spun a bearing" but I guess it means the same thing & yes it normally refers to a rod or main bearing.
