I am thinking of putting the repro Wide ovals on my 70 ss.It has TA radials on it now.The problem is I love the look of the Wide Ovals but will the car feel a lot different with them on it.Lets say in a negative way.Bad ride no traction that sort of thing. Thanks for any advice !

You will definately feel a difference in ride and the way the car tracks (i.e. will "pick up" grooves or undulations in the road). That being said, IMO there is nothing like the look of them and to me it's well worth the sacrifice in ride/handling quality. I'm saving for a set of Polyglas F60s for mine!

If your car is set up for radials, you will have to set up the alignment for belted tires. The numbers are different, especially the caster.
