Has anyone found a solution for sloppy, worn out distributor advance weight bushings? Do any of the aftermarket kits have the correct bushings to fit the stock weights? The most recent kit I bought was Spectre and the bushings included only fit the kit included weights.

replace drive shaft or new distributor.the post the bushings sit on wear out.

The HEI distributor I'm concerned with has replaceable bushings. I'm looking for a replacement for the bushings. I figure someone here must have dealt with this before and hopefully found an easier, less expensive solution besides a new distributor.

buy a mr.gasket or accel curve kit has bushings
springs and weights but dont use the weights there no good.but if the posts the bushings sit on are worn then when you put new bushings in they will wear within a week of driving.

the mr.gasket and accel kits should have two sets of bushings.sorry i forgot half of your post
