Anybody use one of these?? I am trying to find a chrome or alumineum timing cover that doesn't leak. Hoping to keep it under $80.00 or so (tapped out ;) )

Was also looking at the Milodine chrome one...

I have a Mr Gasket chrome cover on my big block and also had the honor of re-gasketing the thing for the second time. :mad:

I had 1 on my prostreet nova,never leaked or any problems.

I used the milodon one. So far so good.

somewhere in summit they have a 2 peice timing chain cover everyone that has one tells me its the best timing cover they ever owned...so u might look at that ;)

I have one on my car now. Very happy with it. No leaks at all. Very worth the money. I think it is identical to the Edelbrock cover except for the emblem.

I like my cloyes # CLO-9-231, looks good and easy to adjust cam endplay(assuming one got roller cam) and timing if you have hex-a-just timing set.

I bought one of those covers off of ebay for 43 $ w/ shipping includeing .. so far .. so good.

I'd make sure you have good clearance.I've seen the chain hit many different aluminum covers.

I think Wysco makes a nice aluminum timing cover. Check to be sure it uses allen head bolts. it came on a motor I got from Beck Racing Engines. No leaks, no problems.
