I glanced at my tires today and noticed the drivers side is almost bald  and the passenger side is almost new(TA drag radials). I've probably done less then 10 Burnout's. Maybe a few 60 footers :D Car's only been on the road for a month.

When I get on it, the left wants to rise. Why would the passenger side tire be unloading?

maybe you've got it wrong the passenger side isn't unloading its hooking wheras the driver side is upspinning and ripping chunks of rubber off of the tire?

I can't believe it, I've only had the car running for a month! You think an air bag in the right would help?

I would have someone watch while you do a burnout. I could be your clutches in your posi unit.

I think I have read about putting an airbag in the pass side rear coil to keep our heavy A-bodies from squating so hard to the rear right. I did it in my car but haven't been to the track yet to prove it, but have seen it work on other A-bodies quite well. I can't see it messing up your tires though.. that's a new one on me...

When a posi starts to wear, it will allow one or the other tires to slip. Usually it is the passenger side though. Have someone watch you do a burnout or look at your marks and make sure you are spinning both tires. If your car is lifting on the drivers side, an airbag in the pass side will help. I have one in mine. I don't think thats why you are spinning the drivers side more though.

The BFG g-Force drag radial is directional. Are both mounted correctly?
