Welcome Tray.
If the rear is squatting. You need to replace the rear springs. Air shocks are nothing more than a quick fix. You can get the new springs at any auto parts store. Stock replacement springs should set your car level or a little up in the back. If you like the rear sitting higher. Go with station wagon springs.

Welcome Tray. May post the question in the suspension forum. New springs on a 40 year old car is not a bad investment though.

Yes I would go with the new springs. You can get them for 80 dollars and they are a real easy install
